These are professional-grade tools from the Clover brand (stamped with a three-leaf clover mark) by Oya Kinzoku, a long-established manufacturer in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture.
They can be used to smoothly strain soups, broths (dashi), sauces, and more.
The design features no holes on the sides, with a fine mesh only on the bottom. This structure prevents liquids from leaking out the sides, ensuring they are effectively collected in the center for a clean straining process.
Highly recommended not only for home use but also for restaurants such as ramen shops, French, and Italian cuisine establishments, as well as for kitchen prep work.
They are built to be extremely durable with robust spot welding (6 points of attachment).
