I used to use a 24V corded hedge trimmer, but I kept cutting the cord and having to repair it each time, which became a hassle, so I bought an engine-powered hedge trimmer.
As expected, it had plenty of power, easily cutting through thick branches, and the lack of a cord allowed for efficient pruning. However, it was a bit heavy, and as I've gotten older, it's become difficult to hold. I only used it twice in one season, so the blades show no wear and the exterior looks like new. The engine starts on the first pull of the starter coil.
