This is an Italian-made, all-aluminum die-cast potato masher purchased at Kochi Daimaru over 24 years ago.
I bought it as something with a bit of a luxurious feel, hoping to add some flair to my life.
I haven't made many potato dishes, so it hasn't been used very often. While there is some corrosion characteristic of aluminum, it still shines brightly.
On the inside of the handle, I attached a plastic tape printed with the purchase date 2002.1.26 using a label maker. It can be cleaned by peeling it off and wiping with alcohol, but I am listing it as is without removing it.
