Description
This is a Kiiro-type wooden composter made from upcycled vintage apple crates, suitable for outdoor use and balconies. Despite its compact size, it has a practical capacity and is designed for both detached houses and apartments.

Durability is enhanced by applying preservative treatment to the entire exterior and constructing an internal frame. Rubber feet are attached to the bottom to improve ventilation.
The interior is lined with weed barrier fabric to prevent soil leakage through the gaps in the wooden boards and to reduce direct contact with the soil, thereby minimizing the deterioration of the apple crate boards. We have focused on durability to ensure it can be used outdoors for a long time, including the unseen interior.

We have received many positive reviews, and our second batch of 2026 production has already sold out. Due to recent increases in material costs, we have revised the price starting from the third batch, but the quality of the finished product remains the same as before.

[Dimensions]
Width: Approx. 640mm
Depth: Approx. 320mm
Height: Approx. 400mm

This size is easy to handle as a general household composter. Please note that apple crates have individual dimensional variations, so there may be slight errors.

[How to Use]
?Fill with black soil up to 80% capacity.
?Dig a hole and add finely chopped food scraps.
?Add water to moisten and mix with a shovel.
?Cover with dry soil so that food scraps are not exposed on the surface.
?Change the location when adding more scraps.
?Place in a sunny spot, preferably protected from rain.
?Bones, shells, onion skins, etc., which take a long time to decompose, cannot be added.

As we use used apple crates, there may be variations in wood grain, warping, distortion, or dents.
There may be markings from markers or chalk, which we leave as is to preserve the character of a well-used item.
The apple crates are listed as having some scratches and dirt due to being reused. The composter itself is unused.
We welcome purchases from those who understand handmade and upcycled products.
