This high table features a perfectly hexagonal tabletop crafted from Showa-era reclaimed wood.
The legs are made from odake, traditionally used in rice farming to dry harvested rice stalks.
We've incorporated the unique characteristics of these materials into the design, creating a high table with a truly nostalgic charm.

Perfect for those seeking a one-of-a-kind piece.

We've skillfully combined two pieces of thick, single-plank wood from the Showa era to create a perfectly hexagonal tabletop.

The edges of the wood have been rounded with sandpaper, giving it a warm, worn, and inviting appearance.

Upon completion of the table, the entire surface was finished with Watco Oil in Natural.
This finish has been maintained through years of use, including occasional wiping with a damp cloth.
The result is a beautiful, soft sheen that reflects the table's age and history.

With regular application of Watco Oil and polishing, the table will develop an even richer luster and age beautifully over time.

For structural integrity, screws are used in load-bearing areas.
To conceal these screws while maintaining a retro aesthetic, small, custom-shaped tin pieces have been hammered into place.
The addition of these mixed materials creates a stylish and unique accent. (See photos 12-13)
