Wild Cherry (Yamazakura) Live Edge Slab Top / Natural Wood Solid Wood

This is a live edge slab tabletop made from Japanese cherry wood (yamazakura), renowned for its exquisite beauty among Japanese hardwoods.
Yamazakura is exceptionally hard and durable, with a fine grain that deepens in color and transforms into a rich amber hue with age. The live edge design ensures that each piece is unique.

The slab has been planed flat, sanded with a level sander, and finished with a matte urethane coating applied to both sides, making it ready for immediate use upon arrival. Any cracks, knots, or wormholes that occurred during drying have been filled.
The urethane coating further enhances the characteristic deep luster of the wood, while also providing excellent water and stain resistance. Spills can be wiped away easily, making daily maintenance a breeze.

While this piece is crafted from thoroughly dried wood, warping or cracking may occur depending on your environment. Please use this natural wood product with an understanding of its inherent characteristics.
