This is a handmade parasol.
It features rose embroidery on light pink linen fabric. The embroidery is very detailed and beautiful.
I bought it a few years ago thinking it would go well with traditional Japanese clothing, but it was too lovely to use, so I kept it stored.
It is an unused item, purchased new and only opened once upon arrival to look at it.
After that, I stored it wrapped in tissue paper and in a plastic bag. However, there are faint signs of fading or dirt along the creases of the fabric, though not very noticeable. (Images 11, 12, 13)
It's possible this was present from the time of purchase, and I simply didn't notice.
While clearly visible in the images, it's difficult to discern at a glance when the parasol is open.
