This is a traditional Japanese mortar (suribachi).
It has fine grooves called kushime carved on the inside, and is used with a pestle to grind or knead ingredients.
★Pestle is not included.
It is a small and convenient size.
Size: Approx. 17.5 cm diameter x Approx. 7.5 cm height

★Has minor scratches.
★Box is not included.
★Shows signs of age.
★This is a very old item. It has been stored at home for a long time. I believe there are no chips or cracks.

It will be shipped packed with bubble wrap, etc.
