The wide and thin heater not only warms the inside of the kotatsu evenly but also allows for comfortable use. It is designed to be a low table that can be used year-round.
[Features]
Equipped with a human motion sensor that detects movement of people and controls operation.
If no motion is detected for 15 minutes, the heater automatically stops operating (standby mode).
The heater resumes operation when motion is detected again. This prevents forgetting to turn off the switch and saves energy by operating only when in use.

The oval-shaped kotatsu is a standard Muji product, characterized by its ease of entry from any angle and the freedom to choose your seating position.
The height of the kotatsu is 37cm. This height is designed to be comfortable when getting into the kotatsu or lying down, minimizing impact on your legs and waist, while also being suitable for studying or eating.
The difference from the 2023 model is that the texture of the wood grain is less noticeable. The tabletop is designed to prevent text from becoming distorted when writing on it.

By making the heater thinner, not only is the space inside the kotatsu larger, but the large heater also provides even warmth.
Efforts have been made to ensure that it is less likely to hit your legs when you put them in, and to minimize the weight.
