Suribachi Mortar and Pestle Set, Maruhon Pottery, Mino Ware, Dachi Ware, For Shops and Large Families, Showa Retro, With Engraving

This was my mother's favorite item.
We had a large family, so she made many things with this.
Now that it's just a few of us, it seems unlikely to be used again, so I'm selling it.

The mortar with the logo of 本 (Hon) in a circle is a product of Maruhon Seito Co., Ltd. (まるほんせいとうしょ), located in Dachi Town, Toki City, Gifu Prefecture (a production area of Mino Ware).

I have listed it as Slightly scratched or dirty because the pestle has a slight stain, which I believe is a remnant from using it with deeply colored foods.

The mortar has no chips or cracks and is perfectly usable.
The grooves are still clearly intact.

It has been carefully washed with a brush, sterilized with hot water, and dried.
There are no issues regarding cleanliness.

There is no original box, but I will pack it with the utmost care to prevent breakage.

This is a well-made item from the past.
It would look great served directly on a tray.
I hope someone who can use it for a restaurant or a large family will purchase it.
