I purchased this about 5 years ago and used it daily, but I had to stop using it because my new stove is gas and it's incompatible. It seems that models with sensors react to the heat and shut off.
I've only ever used it to toast bread, but it was very useful for making delicious toast easily. It has seen considerable use. Also, the corners are chipped, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about this.
