I obtained this item new. There are no smokers or perfume users in my household, nor do I keep pets. Although it is new, unused, and unopened, it has been in someone else's possession, so please understand this before purchasing. Immediate purchase is welcome.
The Miyajima spoon is one of the representative souvenirs of Miyajima, Hiroshima. It is said to have been invented around the Kansei era (circa 1800) by a monk named Seishin of Shinzenji Temple, who taught the islanders to make them using sacred wood from the mountain. The plastic bag is unopened, but the outer packaging shows signs of age-related deterioration.
It will be placed in waterproof plastic and shipped via anonymous Mercari delivery. If you have any questions or requests for additional photos, please contact me before purchasing. Thank you.
