These are turmeric seedlings.
Turmeric grown in fields in the northern part of Okinawa Prefecture.
Naturally cultivated.
Washed, but not completely free of soil.
Small insects may be included.
Please be aware of this.
Image 9 shows turmeric rice made at home.
Cooked with 15 grams of turmeric grated into 2 cups of rice.
It has a slight bitterness, but you can adjust the amount to your liking.
When eating with curry or toppings, the turmeric smell is not noticeable, but this is just my personal opinion, so please use it as a reference.
Slice, dry, and process into turmeric powder using a food processor.
You can add it to soup or make turmeric tea.

The flowers are beautiful!
They are also cute for ornamental purposes.
