This is an extremely rare vintage interior cloth created to commemorate the new building of Ginza Matsuzakaya (now GINZA SIX) in 1964 (Showa 39).
It is a special custom-made, non-sale item handled by the prestigious men's clothing manufacturer of the time, MELBO Co., Ltd., and the tag is engraved with the words Tokyo Store New Building Commemoration.
Design: A substantial finish with a calm gold woven fabric, bordered on all four sides by luxurious fringe.
Packaging: A dedicated design box with a geometric pattern, symbolizing the modernity of Ginza at the time. A brand card from that era is also included.
