Ponte de Lima 2 pots * Nekoposu

＊Photographed on May 25th. The seedlings in photos 2-6 will be sent.
The pot size is 6 cm. Please use this as a size reference.
As this is an aquatic plant, it is grown in Akadama soil. The soil may crumble during packing, so please be careful when removing it. Please submerge the plant in water as soon as possible after receiving it.
＊Shipping via Nekoposu from Aichi Prefecture. Please refrain from purchasing if you are in Okinawa, as delivery will take a very long time.

Pontederia
Also known as Nagabamizuaoi (Long-leaved Water Hyacinth)
Pontederiaceae family
Plant height: 60-150 cm
Flowering period: Approximately June-October

This perennial plant produces small, pale blue-purple flowers one after another from the bottom during the summer.
It is a refreshing aquatic plant with glossy leaves.
In Aichi, it can overwinter outdoors without any special measures.
I manage mine in a water lily pot.
For inquiries such as Will it perennialize in X prefecture?, I will not be able to answer as I would need to research it online myself, so I will delete such comments.

It will be shipped via Nekoposu. While I will pack it carefully to prevent water leakage due to its high moisture content, I will only pack the roots to protect the leaves from heat damage. Please refrain from purchasing if this is a concern for you.

Please understand that I will not be able to respond during work hours (shift system from 9:00 to 21:00).
