This is a flat graver for bezel setting cabochons with a diameter of approximately 5.0mm.
It has been shaped and polished from a commercially available red graver. It has not been hardened.
The corners have been rounded (curved).
The striking surface is mostly flat, so please lightly grind it to a curve as needed.
You can use it as is, but
as you use it, scratches and roughness will appear on the striking surface.
