Description
Purchased for making a bisque doll, this is the British Doll Eye, Brown, 14mm Oval.
-------
Paperweight Glass Eyes
As the name paperweight suggests, these are glass eyes that are densely packed with glass and have no hollow space.
They are characterized by a construction where the iris is painted with colored glass on a base that mimics the white of the eye, and then another layer of glass is placed on top.
Oval Type
The back is either a pinching type where the edge of the white of the eye is raised, or a flat type with no protrusions.
