◎Features and Precautions

・Set of 3 self-made belts for fixing the upper knee, lower knee, and ankle, used for the hiza shibari (leg binding) health practice.

・Be careful not to overtighten; start loosely at first. While three belts are ideal, one belt above the knee can also be effective.

・Measure the thickest part of your upper knee, lower knee, or ankle with a tape measure or string. If the circumference is within approximately 15cm less than the total belt length, the belt should not slip off and can be used with confidence. (The full product photo shows the length when the belt extends about 10cm.)

・The buckle allows for easy length adjustment and one-touch release in emergencies such as unexpected visitors, earthquakes, or fires. (The belt end is not sewn, allowing for smooth removal by loosening the belt and sliding it out.)
*If you fold and sew the belt end yourself, it may prevent the belt from slipping out of the buckle and allow for a slightly larger circumference, but it will prevent smooth removal by sliding.

・Products using YKK brand buckles are characterized by their stylishness, toughness, and precise, reliable operation.

・If you attempt to force the buckle claws back in after a one-touch release under tension without loosening the belt, it may cause damage.

・If you apply excessive force, such as spreading your legs widely while the belt is fastened, the buckle may break.
*If the buckle breaks due to excessive force, you can continue to use the belt by attaching a new buckle or two D-rings of your choice, provided the belt itself is undamaged.

・If you cut the belt or the fibers at the end fray, use a lighter to melt and seal the end to prevent further fraying.

・Products where the belt is attached to the buckle with an adjuster (a figure-eight piece) instead of being sewn allow for removal and washing of the belt. (Hand washing and air drying in the shade are recommended.)

◆Personally, I have found that hiza shibari helps alleviate cold sensitivity, maintain good posture during long periods of PC work or TV viewing, and prevent slouching or tech neck. I also feel that sleeping with the three points slightly loosened helps me fall asleep more easily and achieve deeper sleep. Even one belt above the knee has some effect, so please refer to books and online information for further use.
