With a refractive index of 1.51, it can be used for particle analysis using a microscope by clearing it with immersion oil.
The water extract of the MF filter is 5% of the filter weight.
Stable in weak acids and alkalis, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, and non-polar aqueous solutions.
Can be steam sterilized at 121°C under high pressure. It can also be recommended for applications used at temperatures below 75°C.
