TANITA Salt Meter Shio-mi Spoon

Description

Waterproof salt meter, usable 2000 times, convenient.

New and unused, but has been stored for a considerable time. No response when the switch is turned ON. It is unclear whether the battery is dead or if it is broken. The manual states that battery replacement can be done for a fee by contacting the company. I feel like I might be able to replace it myself with a screwdriver.

The plastic case inside has cracks and discoloration (photos 10 and 11). The film on the window of the outer box is torn (photo 12). The spoon itself is clean.

This is a home-stored item. It is unknown if it can be used, but please take it if you are okay with that.
