Received from a local craftswoman.
She prepared this for her cake-making classes, but nowadays, electric whisks are used in classes, so she ended up putting it away after using it only a few times.
She enthusiastically bought 4 of these at Kappabashi. I am listing the last one of those.

The Hotei Brand whisk, said to last semi-eternally once you own one, might just be the home run king of whisks.
(Although its shape resembles a baseball bat...)
It's also great for breaking up lumps in white sauce; just whisk it up and they'll easily dissolve. Also useful for custard cream, etc.
However, size 11 is a bit large for making a single serving, so please imagine it suitable for about 4 servings.
Electric mixers are the mainstream nowadays, but
having a genuine article in your home can be a status symbol... (This is just my personal opinion.)
