Scientific Name: Coprophanaeus lancifer (ex. Megaphanaeus)

While most Rainbow Hercules Beetles are around 25mm, this species grows to a large size of approximately 50mm. It is believed to be the largest species within its genus. It inhabits a wide area around the Amazon River basin.
Recommended as it has been made into a figure in Ikimono Daizukan (Living Creatures Encyclopedia) and is well-known!

We will ship a female specimen from Obidos, Brazil, similar to the one pictured. Although not the largest in size, this individual is deeply colored blue and exceptionally beautiful.
