【Organic】40 Mandarin Orange Leaves - Perfect for Swallowtail Butterfly Food
10.00 $
Description
My family has already had many hatch. Swallowtail butterflies hatch every year, so I know well what they eat.
The larva in the photo was found on a tangerine tree on June 8th.
The eggs were found when I collected them on June 28th.
The photo of the packaging contains about 20 leaves. This will be double the amount.
The number of tangerine leaves a swallowtail butterfly larva eats per individual is approximately 32 leaves. This is the total number of leaves eaten from the 1st to 5th instar larval stages. According to data from Asunaro Learning Room, they eat 0.06 leaves as a 1st instar larva, 0.2 leaves as a 2nd instar larva, 0.7 leaves as a 3rd instar larva, 3.6 leaves as a 4th instar larva, and 26.8 leaves as a 5th instar larva.
I will select and ship beautiful leaves.
