Kubanka. Traditional Russian Cossack hat. Genuine karakul.
This is a traditional Russian hat that was once popular among Cossacks, Russian warriors. It is still commonly seen today at festivals and among those involved in the Cossack movement. Karakul refers to the fur obtained from lambs a few days old. This fur is known for its exceptionally soft texture and is considered a high-quality, relatively rare material that can be used for a long time. This hat was made during the Soviet era, but it is in excellent condition and feels like new.
