Japanese Honeybee Attractant Liquid 500ml x 2 bottles

Made by boiling down honeycombs harvested in Autumn 2025.

This is a special attractant liquid for capturing swarming Japanese honeybees.
It is made by boiling down honeycomb debris to extract beeswax. This liquid is the byproduct.

Japanese honeybees have a highly developed sense of smell, and scout bees are easily attracted to the scent of this attractant. In fact, when boiling it outdoors, bees are often seen flying in, drawn by the smell.

If you soak a cloth in the boiled liquid and place it out, bees will gather as shown in the photo (6th image).

To prevent clogging when using a spray, the liquid has been filtered with a paper filter.

It is said to be effective in capturing swarming Japanese honeybees. When I first captured a swarm, I used this attractant in combination with Kinryohen (a traditional Japanese bee attractant).

The easiest method is to periodically spray it with a mist sprayer onto the ceiling or around the bait hive.
Applying it with a brush or cloth is also effective, but be careful not to apply too much, as it can become sticky.

The liquid may develop mold or ferment. We recommend storing it frozen until use.

This product is intended to increase the probability of capturing Japanese honeybees. It does not guarantee capture, so please purchase with understanding.

The PET bottle may differ from the photo, but all contain 500ml.
