We live alongside Japanese honeybees.
This product is made by dissolving the honeycomb residue left after honey extraction in hot water, cooling and solidifying only the beeswax that floats to the surface, and then repeatedly melting and filtering the beeswax to remove impurities. Finally, it is melted in a double boiler and poured into a mold.
The color of beeswax changes depending on the season of honey collection, as it contains nectar and pollen from flowers. As this is handmade by an amateur, there may be some residual honeycomb. Please refrain from purchasing if you are seeking zero impurities or perfection.
Please understand that the beeswax may melt or break during shipping. Only purchase if you understand this risk.
