The top tier has a slatted floor for Japanese honeybees to easily build their nests.
The middle tier has a fall prevention device for hot summer days.
The bottom tier has an inspection door, making it easy to clean the bottom and feed the bees.
The entrance is a standard 7mm high opening.
Made of 27mm thick cedar wood.
Dimensions of one tier (outer): 300mm x 300mm x 195mm.
Finished height: 600mm.
The thick boards prevent bee nests from falling in the summer.
Includes a frame to prevent lateral slippage.
The exterior has been torched, making it more resistant to deterioration.
This also increases the rate of honeybees entering the box.
