This is a listing for a used substrate block from a *Dorcus hopei binodulosus* (Japanese giant stag beetle) culture.

This is a very large block.

You can add as many as you like!

This is a nutrient-rich used substrate block made from 100% raw oak sawdust.

As you can see in the photos, the mycelium is firmly established inside.

Simply bury the block in substrate, and stag beetles will lay eggs!

It can be easily broken apart, making it easier to extract larvae than using logs, and you can get a large number of larvae!

*Dorcus hopei binodulosus* are laying eggs prolifically!

It also enhances the nutrition for rhinoceros beetle larvae.

When raising rhinoceros beetle larvae, you'll notice a significant increase in size just by burying this in the substrate.

It's also excellent as food for the larvae of stag beetles that prefer fungal substrate, such as *Dorcus hopei binodulosus*, *Dorcus hopei*, *Nigidius* species, and *Phalacrognathus muelleri*!

It's also suitable for breaking apart to create your own original fermented substrate.
