◆ Please read the following important notes carefully before purchasing!

This is a high-quality, thick, and nutritious Nara oak log ideal for stag beetle egg-laying setups.
Compared to sawtooth oak, Nara oak is generally less common in circulation, with thinner bark and finer fibers.
It is expected to increase egg-laying success for species such as Futamata, Shika, Okuwa, Dorcus, Hosaka, and colorful beetles!
This is an actual item listing, so please check the product images.

▼ As shown in images 1-4, these are thick logs. While some may have a slightly firm core, the wood immediately surrounding the core is soft enough for a toothpick to be inserted easily!
The wood is moderately decayed, which is expected to increase egg-laying success!
However, please understand that it is impossible to inspect the entire interior of each log.
▼ Images 1 and 3, and images 2 and 4, show the front and the top/bottom cut surfaces, respectively, with the logs flipped upside down.
