This black bottle lamp, featuring a design where the label of a 1.8L sake bottle is painted over, is a prime example of the artisanal feel of the Margiela team.
Soft light emanates from the cotton shade.
The bottles used for production symbolize the country of release: 1.8L sake bottles in Japan, wine bottles in France, and whiskey bottles in the UK.
Furthermore, all processing is done by hand in the Paris atelier, making each piece unique and one-of-a-kind in the world.
Purchased around 2014 at a directly managed store in Osaka, it was used very little and stored in a dark place at home, wrapped in bubble wrap.
