??This is a hanging oil lamp (lantern) made of retro Showa-era amber glass.

??This lamp is believed to be a folk craft design for mountaineering and mountain huts, sold under names like Mountain Memories at the time.

??Main features and structure:
Tank: Made of warm amber glass with bubbles and fine embossed cuts, securely held by a metal frame.

??Shade (Umbrella): A removable hat-shaped black metal shade is attached to the top, designed to reflect light downwards.

??Hanging metal frame: The top serves as a handle (and hanging loop), allowing it to be hung from a hook or chain, or placed on a table as is.

??Burner and chimney: The wick can be adjusted up and down by turning the central metal knob.

??The transparent glass in the center (chimney) protects the flame from wind.

*The knob spins freely and does not move. For extinguishing, we recommend removing the glass and blowing it out, or using it for display purposes.
