I have been keeping honeybees for 6 years and have rebuilt several hives to finally arrive at this design.
Standard large hives become unexpectedly heavy with the weight of the honey, to the point where women cannot lift them. Working on a ladder is also difficult. While harvesting honey is enjoyable, it can also be a challenging task, especially with agitated bees.

Therefore, I created a hive of a size that makes harvesting easier for women, the elderly, or those with less strength.
Top board: Plywood, 28cm (width/length), 1cm (thickness)
Extension box: 23cm (width/length), 3cm (thickness), 17.5cm (height)
Play area entrance box:
23cm (width/length), 3cm (thickness), 17.5cm (height)
Entrance hole: Approximately 3mm
Bottom board: Plywood, 24cm (width), 28cm (length), 1cm (thickness)
Space for small hive beetle repellent
23cm (width/length)

The honey is slippery during harvest, so handles are attached for easy lifting.
Thin bamboo strips are attached inside the extension box to prevent comb collapse (naturally done and removable).
Please note that there may be slight dimensional errors due to wood warping.

There are scratches and dirt.
