Young leaves from branch-grown mandarins! Shipped today in abundance! Sunny sunshine(^^) Food for swallowtail butterflies

Fresh green mandarin leaves
We will pack as many as fit in the bag, including branches.
Since soft leaves can wither in the heat, we will include a generous mix of firm, sturdy leaves with branches.
This is a suitable amount of food for 5 to 7 small butterflies to feed until they pupate in early spring.
Occasionally, small mandarins may be included.
We harvest after you order and ship on the same day.
They are healthy enough to root if planted in the soil.
Refrigerating them upon arrival seems to help them last longer.

Sweet mandarins ripen every year in our sunny garden.
Last year, many swallowtail butterflies flew away.
And this year, a swallowtail butterfly that flew away 13 days ago laid eggs on the leaves of a small potted plant.
We move them to a swallowtail butterfly house and raise them with the young leaves of our garden's mandarin tree.

I wish different kinds of swallowtail butterflies would visit, not just the common ones. I'd like to observe their growth.
