A share from a small garden's mandarin tree! Food for swallowtail butterflies! Young leaves with stems! Mandarin leaves

Fresh green mandarin orange leaves
We will pack as many as fit into the bag, including branches.
Since soft leaves can wither in the heat, we will include a generous mix of sturdy leaves with firm branches.
This is a suitable amount of food for about 5-6 small swallowtail butterflies to reach the pupa stage in early spring.
Occasionally, small mandarins may be included.
We harvest after you order and ship on the same day.
They are healthy enough to root if planted in the soil.
Refrigerating them upon arrival seems to help them last longer.

Sweet mandarins ripen every year on our sunny garden tree.
Last year, many swallowtail butterflies flew away from here.
And this year, 8 days ago, a swallowtail butterfly laid eggs on the leaves of a small potted plant.
We transferred them to a swallowtail butterfly habitat and are raising them with the young leaves of our garden mandarin tree.
However, the mandarin tree is not very large, so perhaps it's almost time to stop pruning its branches?
