Lemon Leaves - 20 pcs (plus a bonus) - Pesticide-Free - Food for Swallowtail Butterflies
10.00 $
Description
20 leaves (plus a bonus) from a large potted lemon tree grown from seed, planted from pesticide-free lemons.
These lemon leaves are from a tree that has been growing on my balcony from the very beginning without any pesticides. Every year, swallowtail butterflies, which seem to come from nowhere, eat all the leaves just before they mature. In return, I occasionally get to witness them emerge from their cocoons. In the photos from the second one onwards, the order from front to back is olive tree, swallowtail butterfly, and lemon tree. This is a photo of a swallowtail butterfly shortly after emerging last year.
