Made with naturally dried cedar wood. For recent heat countermeasures, the bottom board can be swapped between a regular type and a 6mm mesh wire net. The bottom board can be removed for easy internal inspection using a smartphone, mirror, etc. The top is made with plywood with slits, allowing for the placement of a moth trap, Acarapis woodi mite prevention, and a winter feed box. The bottom 5cm of the hive has been treated with a burner for anti-corrosion, which we believe enhances durability. For prevention of comb collapse, 8 metal rods are included. Usage instructions are described in the letter along with tips for attracting bees.
