This is a nutrient-rich spent mushroom substrate block made from 100% Quercus (oak) raw sawdust, which stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles love the most.

As shown in the image, the mycelium has spread throughout the block.

It is excellent as food for stag beetle larvae, for egg-laying, and for nutritional supplementation for rhinoceros beetle larvae.

When raising rhinoceros beetle larvae, you will notice a significant size increase simply by burying this block in fermented substrate.

When buried in substrate as a block, rhinoceros beetle larvae will burrow in and eat enthusiastically.

It also serves as food for larvae of stag beetles such as Giant Stag Beetles, Stag Beetles, Rainbow Stag Beetles, and Giraffa Stag Beetles that prefer mushroom substrate.

When used instead of an egg-laying log, females will burrow in and lay eggs.

It is easier to extract larvae than from logs, and you can obtain a larger number of larvae!

It is also suitable as a raw material for creating your own original fermented substrate by loosening it.

※The image is of one item from our stock.

Please only purchase if you understand that some blocks may be slightly misshapen or broken.

We also have other items for sale, including fermented substrate that promotes larval growth, stag beetle substrate, coniferous substrate ideal for adult beetle management, perches for adult beetle breeding and display, and high-grade professional jelly. Please check our other listings.
