Japanese Honeybee Box Hive Winder

This is a homemade tiered beehive lifting machine made from orchard agricultural pipes (25mm).

I made two units and am selling one.

It uses two hand winches, with a double pulley at the top and a single pulley at the bottom, so it easily lifts beehives weighing up to 30kg.

The frame dimensions are approximately 54cm wide, 44cm deep, and 87cm high.

I built this for my own 32cm outer diameter beehives, so it's designed to clamp onto them. However, by replacing the inner clamping plates with thicker ones or by adding spacers, it can easily accommodate smaller beehives.

For beehives larger than 32cm or those with handles, the frame is adjustable and can accommodate beehives up to 36cm.

There are two tightening bolts, one at the top and one at the bottom. The bottom bolt secures the hive entrance frame, and the top bolt secures the box, allowing for stable lifting.

Since it's designed to be inserted from the top of the beehive, it can be set up even on a slope, as long as there is space above the hive.

It can also stack two boxes simultaneously if the boxes are 15cm high.

All parts are new except for the agricultural pipes. It has been tested when stacking from 3 to 5 boxes in a hive that was occupied in March, so it is considered used.

As this was made by an amateur, please understand that there may be slight dimensional inaccuracies or warping.

Due to shipping size restrictions, the hand winches will be detached for shipping. The winches are easy to reattach.

It makes summer hive stacking easy for one person and has been extremely useful.
