This is for Honey's House and Honey's Mansion.
Japanese honeybees prefer weathered boxes, so some professionals prepare them a year in advance.
The external dimensions are 33cm x 33cm, the internal dimensions are 27cm x 27cm, and the height is 15cm. The thickness is 3cm, providing a comfortable environment against summer heat and winter cold.

The comb support bars are shaved to 8mm.
While there are various ways to attach the support bars, such as a cross or grid pattern, bees dislike having too many. Therefore, we attach two parallel bars. If you add more boxes, please set them so that if the support bars on the lower box are horizontal, the support bars on the upper box are vertical. This method achieves a grid-like effect with fewer bars. By the time you harvest honey, you should have four or five boxes stacked, so one of them will be supporting the comb, and the comb will not fall even if you remove the top box.
If you plan to use this for other beehives, please ensure you understand the dimensions before purchasing.
Please note that as this is handmade, there may be slight variations of around ±2mm due to the manufacturing process or wood expansion/contraction.
If your colony is strong and the comb grows well, you will stack up to 5-6 boxes, including the entrance box, by autumn. Therefore, we recommend purchasing 2-3 additional boxes if you already own one set of the Honey's series.
