It has ample height, so you can stack egg cartons to some extent with room to spare. It can hold about 200-300 medium-sized house crickets (ML size).
It has a double bottom, so droppings fall through the mesh to the case below, making cleaning easy and reducing the risk of ammonia poisoning.
