Description
This is a cross-linked polyethylene pipe floor penetration packing made by Maezawa.
It is used as a substitute for caulking at openings in risers for sinks, kitchens, etc. It improves airtightness by preventing cold drafts from under the floor in winter.
The photo shows an actual example with 1 cm insulation for cross-linked polyethylene 13mm. Since it is elastic rubber, it can also be used for 16mm pipes.
