Antique tool, Showa retro, wooden sieve, set of 3, stamped Showa 9
15.84 $
Description
These have been stored in my parents' storage shed for a long time.
They are marked with the year Showa 9 (1934) and show signs of dirt, damage, and use. The largest one has its seams repaired with wire. (Photo 4)
They were covered in dust, so I gave them a quick wash. The mesh has rust and some parts are torn, creating holes.
How about using them as antique folk tools or for displaying in a traditional Japanese house to enjoy their retro feel?
