I purchased this on Mercari but was unable to use it at the hospital, so I am selling it.

This product is called a muff or care muff.
Muffs have spread in Japan, inspired by dementia care in the UK.
While often associated with dementia, they can be used in various situations to help calm restlessness, or as an alternative to mitten restraints to prevent patients from pulling out IV lines.
By placing the hand and arm inside the muff's tube, it is expected to provide benefits such as calming the mind through hand warmth, promoting nervous system relaxation, improving blood flow and circulation, easing muscle tension, and aiding in autonomic nervous system recovery.
Additionally, the muff contains a nigunigu (squeezable item) that can be held and squeezed, which is expected to stimulate brain activity through the movement of fingers and hands in a relaxed state.
