Extension Spring Crescent Lixil Toyo Window Lock Spring 10 pcs

This is a replacement spring for the crescent lock used in aluminum sash windows built around the year 2000.

The original spring broke, causing the lock to lose its springiness. After searching extensively, I finally found a spring that fits.

I am listing this product because I believe others may also be looking for a replacement.

Replacement method instructions:
Photo 6: Use a small flathead screwdriver to pry open the lock and turn the screws. Loosen them slightly, then do the same for the bottom screws.
Photo 7: Remove the top screw, move the lock slightly, and then screw the screw back in just enough so it doesn't fall out of the original hole.
Photo 8: Remove the broken spring and install the new spring. The spring has no specific orientation.
Then, reassemble the lock by reversing the previous steps.
Be careful, as screws are easily dropped.
