This is a paulownia wood box for storing soba, which I had prepared as part of my soba-making tools.
Although I gathered all the tools, I never actually made soba and kept it stored at home.

The size is approximately 50 x 32 x 4 cm (height).
It's a convenient size not only for storing soba but also for organizing tools.

Paulownia boxes have a characteristic that their wood grain settles and they become more familiar as tools over time, rather than when they are brand new.
This item has also developed a natural, paulownia-like texture due to its storage period.

Furthermore, if you get creative with its use,
I believe it can also be utilized as a box for preserving documents, or for storing Japanese accessories and other Japanese items.

There are some scuffs and minor scratches from storage, but no damage that would impede its use, and it is in good condition for practical purposes.
