It also has a skin-smoothing effect, making it recommended for beauty purposes.

Hinokitiol is known for its strong sterilizing and antibacterial properties and has been used in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries for a long time, so many of you may already be familiar with it.

Currently, Hinokitiol is used in pharmaceuticals, quasi-drugs, cosmetics, and food additives. Although its wonderful effects are recognized, only 100-200g can be extracted from 1 ton of raw material, making it very expensive and not widely available to the general public.

Also, the name Hinokitiol might lead you to believe it's found in cypress trees, but Hiba trees contain a much larger amount of Hinokitiol.

While Hiba trees contain the most Hinokitiol among natural tree essential oils, its content is still only 1-2%.

However, through our group's unique Hiba extraction method, we have achieved cost reduction for this precious natural Hinokitiol. We are now able to offer it at an unprecedentedly affordable price.
