This is a natural whetstone from Nisshozan.
I lapped the raw stone myself.
This is a DIY level job by an amateur, so please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection.
There is a possibility of delamination or chipping, so the stone is coated with cashew except for the lapped surface.
This stone easily produces mud and has high abrasive power.
It is ideal for removing scratches from medium grit stones.
It is a very easy-to-use whetstone, so it is also recommended for beginners.
As it is a natural stone, there may be streaks or inclusions that were not apparent during my test sharpening.
