[Other]
This stone was purchased from a whetstone manufacturer in Kyoto.
I was introduced to them by Aritsugu, a famous knife maker in Nishiki Market, and they kindly called ahead for me.
There was a cut section of this stone, and I was allowed to try sharpening with it.
Regarding the feel of sharpening, I tried sharpening small items such as kiridashi knives, chisels, and plane blades that I brought with me.
Modern Japanese knives are made of materials like Yasuki steel and have very high hardness, so I purchased this stone because it has a soft feel when sharpening but still effectively grinds (sharpens).

*If you have any requests, I will add more images. Please specify clearly how you would like them taken, using the front view as a reference.

[Reason for Selling]
About 30 years ago, it was already difficult to obtain my own hand tools.
I searched for and purchased them at that time, thinking that it would become even more difficult to obtain them in the future. I bought them in bulk with the intention of opening my own hand tool shop when I could no longer work or when I retired.
I would like to pass this on to someone who will actually use it.
Please feel free to negotiate the price.
