[Commitment to the creation of the drying basket]
1. Opening that opens like a door for easy access.
2. When items like dried daikon radish shrink as they dry, they tend to fall through the mesh. This basket is designed to accommodate a round sieve (bonzaru) as a catch tray. It's designed so you can cut vegetables in the kitchen, place them on the sieve, and then easily put them in and take them out of the basket.
3. The netting is made with hemp in mind to create an interior that allows vegetables to feel comfortable. Green lines have been added as accents. They will not fade even in the sun.
4. Made with Japanese fishing nets, it boasts excellent strength and durability.
5. The zippers, which can be fragile, are from Japan's proud YKK brand.
6. Although it's made from industrial fishing nets, wooden beads have been added to match a natural lifestyle.
7. It can be compactly folded when not in use.
8. It can also be used outdoors as a mosquito net for storing prepared food or drying washed dishes.

[How to clean]
- If you are concerned about dirt, you can wash it with dish soap and a loofah, scrub brush, or sponge.

[Do I need a round sieve (bonzaru)?]
- It is made to fit the size of a round sieve.
As mentioned in the commitment points above, the round sieve can catch vegetables that shrink as they dry. Having one is useful; if you place it on the bottom tier, it will prevent vegetables from scattering on the floor. It's convenient to have, but not essential.
However, Hitotsuya's round sieves are tools also supplied to sushi restaurants and other eateries. They are durable and can be used for a long time, so we hope you'll consider getting one.
