This item was found while organizing my parents' home.
It is an unopened item, but I believe it is old.

Just opening the outer box releases a rose scent.

Many people used this soap as a sachet or deodorizer (fragrance) by placing it in their drawers.

It is still popular today, and some people seem to be using it as a substitute for fragrance.

Historic Brand: Its roots are in a long-established cosmetics manufacturer founded in Nihonbashi in 1860 (Man'en 1).
Distinctive Packaging: It features a romantic Art Deco illustration of a woman that was all the rage from the Taisho to early Showa periods.
Traditional Manufacturing Method: According to the instructions on the back of the lid, it is made using a unique frame-molding (waku-neri) method, and was popular as a high-quality soap with good lather and resistance to losing its shape.

This is a vintage soap manufactured in the Showa era. The retro packaging design from that time is very cute, and it is recommended for collections, interior displays, or as a fragrance.
As this is an old vintage item (from that era), please refrain from using it on your skin.
